What About Nietzche ?

What about nietzche ?

Sometimes I wonder why people don’t mention or talk about Nietzche. Nietzche’s mind-blowing work and influence on humanity and its level of consciousness, which in my opinion hasn’t caught up with the momentum yet and barely reached its peak. Nietzche defies all the philosophies and religions before him, and sails to a new different course.

It is my fate that I have to be the first decent human being; that I know myself to stand in opposition to the mendaciousness of millennia. I was the first to discover the truth by being the first to experience lies as lies

It started in the 19th century, With barely any recognition in his lifetime, nor any ears to hear him:

A man has no ears for that to which experience has given him no access.

Nietzche was worried about the future and goals of humanity after the triumph of science and the decline of religion in human life. Not that Nietzche was pro-religion – the exact opposite – but he recognized that the idea of God gave humans meaning in their life. Humanity was approaching a dangerous nihilism that needed a solution.

The Übermensch shall be the meaning of the earth!
Behold, I am a prophet of the lightning and a heavy drop from the cloud: but this lightning is called Übermensch

Superman vs Nietzsche

In any case, What attracted me to Nietzche the most are his views on suffering. To Nietzche suffering and struggle are health – This view – albeit many might call it dark –  provides a flood of energies and positivity to continue living a fulfilling life, especially if one has been dealt bad cards early in life. One can say to himself ” My life is already full of suffering and torture, and It’s not my fault nor can I even restart it – Life seems lovely with potential but not from down here… Is it really possible that this is exactly the best thing that could happen to me? There is nothing to lose anyways, I am already swimming in the undergrounds!”

To those human beings who are of any concern to me I wish suffering, desolation, sickness, ill-treatment, indignities — I wish that they should not remain unfamiliar with profound self-contempt, the torture of self-mistrust, the wretchedness of the vanquished: I have no pity for them, because I wish them the only thing that can prove today whether one is worth anything or not — that one endures

A life-affirming philosophy of thought – not an escape to metaphysics.

Ask yourselves whether a tree that is supposed to grow to a proud height can dispense with bad weather and storms; whether misfortune and external resistance, some kinds of hatred, jealousy, stubbornness, mistrust, hardness, avarice, and violence do not belong among the favorable conditions without which any great growth even of virtue is scarcely possible.
